World Food System Summer School, “Food Systems in Transition”

The two-week intensive academic course will be hosted at the Sustainability Institute in Lynedoch Ecovillage, near Stellenbosch. The program takes an integrated approach that considers interactions across the food system, with its environmental, social, political, and economic boundary conditions.

World Food System Summer School, “Food Systems in Transition”

Together with the Yamsys Project and the Swiss Center for Scientific Research in Côte d'Ivoire,this two-week intensive academic course will take place in Abidjan, Bouaké, and a number of field sites. The program spans the food system and includes lectures, workshops, case studies, field trips, and farm work together with faculty and experts from leading research institutes, as well as the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.
