Towards solving the zinc crisis

A new video highlights the findings of an ETH Zurich World Food System Center project looking at management options to increase the zinc content of wheat grains.

In a short project video, former doctoral student Roman Grüter presents major findings of the ZOMM project funded through the Mercator Research Program. The project entitled Zinc Biofortification of Wheat through Organic Matter Management in Sustainable Agriculture looked at ways to use organic matter management to help decrease zinc deficiency. Watch the video to see what he discovered.
