The recent story on the SRF news program 10vor10 (14 February 2017) followed the process of preparing the fast food made from fresh products such as lettuce and fruit for Coop to go stores across Switzerland. The process is a combination of handwork and automated steps. Claudio Beretta, doctoral student in the Ecological Systems Design group of WFSC member Stefanie Hellweg, comments on the food and plastic waste created by such products.
