WFSC at Kantonsschule Büelrain
Project Manager Anna K. Gilgen was invited to speak to students in Winterthur during the IngCH Engineering and Computer Science Week at Kantonsschule Büelrain.
The Kantonsschule Büelrain in Winterthur organized a “Technik- und Informatikwoche” (Engineering and Computer Science Week) together with IngCH. The first three days of this special week were filled with workshops around technical and informatics topics, and the last day was dedicated to universities of applied sciences and universities.
Project Manager Dr. Anna K. Gilgen was invited to conclude the week with an presentation introducing the work of the WFSC. Anna took the opportunity to present the Center and its activities in research, education, and outreach to the group of 65 students in their third year of gymnasium. In her presentation, Anna briefly introduced the goals of the Center and then highlighted several current research projects, our summer school, and outreach events.
